Founded in 1982, the laboratory is one of China's earliest university-based EMC research and testing institutions.实验室成立于1982年,是我国高校和铁路系统中较早开展电磁兼容研究与检测的机构之一。

The laboratory conducts electromagnetic environment assessment, EMI analysis, anti-interference technology, antenna and radio-wave propagation studies, and EMC testing methods for high-speed railway, urban rail transit, and communication systems.实验室面向高速铁路、城市轨道交通和通信系统等实际工程场景,开展电磁环境评估、电磁干扰分析、抗干扰技术、天线与电波传播、电磁兼容测试方法等研究。
